The City of Danville is looking for a Director of Water and Gas. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in both water and gas (but at least one of them). A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in management or a related field, is required. A degree in engineering is a plus as is experience in Virginia and in a municipal government similar to Danville.

The Office of the State Inspector General (OSIG) is seeking a qualified individual to provide leadership and oversight of the Performance Review Services Division. The Director will be responsible for supervising three Audit Service Managers and indirectly 11 senior auditors/analysts. The Director is responsible for development, implementation and project oversight of a division workplan which includes performance reviews of Executive branch agencies. The position may also conduct audits, special investigations or special projects, generally of a greater degree of complexity or of a confidential nature.

Prior to RMA he supervised federal engagements at KPMG for 16 years. Mr. Hunt’s primary focus has been financial management, audit, and internal controls in the Federal Government workspace. The topic of his presentation will be “How to Find, Track, and Monitor Congressional Documents.”
