September AGA Chapter Meeting

We would like to sincerely thank Jim St Clair for speaking at the September NOVAGA Chapter meeting on 9/20. It was a wonderful meeting made memorable by a very educational presentation on Blockchain. We are very pleased by the turn out for this event and look forward to many more successful events in the future. Kickoff Picnic at Hains Point

September 29, 2018 @ 11am to 2pm

To kick off the 2018 – 2019 AGA program year, the Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Montgomery / Prince George’s County chapters are hosting a picnic at Hains Point (Picnic Area C) on Saturday, September 29th from 11:00am to 2:00pm. I encourage you to join us for invaluable networking opportunities, food, games, music, and family fun! Famous Dave’s catering and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

NOVAGA Chapter Meetings for September

September 20, 2018 @ 6pm to 8pm

Our September speaker will be Jim St. Clair, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Dinocrates.

Mr. St. Clair is a specialist on Blockchain technology and its potential future impact on our lives and jobs. NOVAGA Awards GALA

This year’s Gala will be celebrating the Chapter’s 50th anniversary and will include a happy hour and buffet dinner.  Following the dinner, a brief ceremony will include opening remarks from VA House of Delegates Elizabeth Guzman.  Last but not least, we will end the night with charity gambling.  Charities represented will include United Way of Greater Washington, March of Dimes, and So Others Might Eat.  Please bring a guest and join us for a wonderful evening!

CGFM Study Group Exam 3 (Part 2 of 2)

April 26 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

This review session will be held at MorganFranklin Consulting and will cover the second half of the CGFM module 3 exam. It is recommended that participants review the AGA Study Guide before the session meets. Garage parking will be available on-site through Colonial Parking and will have a maximum charge of 12 dollars (all day parking rate). MorganFranklin is metro accessible via the silver line (Tysons Corner stop). There will be light food and beverages provided for participants and the study group costs $5 to register.
