CGFM Study Group Exam 3 (Part 1 of 2)

March 15 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

This review session will be held at MorganFranklin Consulting and will cover the first half of the CGFM module 3 exam. It is recommended that participants review the AGA Study Guide before the session meets. Garage parking will be available on-site through Colonial Parking and will have a maximum charge of 12 dollars (all day parking rate). MorganFranklin is metro accessible via the silver line (Tysons Corner stop). There will be light food and beverages provided for participants and the study group costs $5 to register.

We’ll discuss what mindfulness is, why it’s needed now more than ever, and what benefits it has on our health, brain, and performance. You’ll also be taken through a couple of short, guided mindfulness practices and learn how you might incorporate it into your life to increase your wellbeing, relieve stress, and build resilience.

NOVAGA Chapter Meetings for November

Fall is here, which means that the annual Northern Virginia AGA Membership Happy Hour is approaching. This is one of our biggest happy hour events of the year! National Cyber Security Awareness Month is observed each October since its inception in 2004 in the United States of America.  In keeping with this observance, our October 2017 speaker will be Kathryn Condello, Director, National Security/ Emergency Preparedness, CenturyLink.  Ms. Condello’s presentation is entitled “Cybersecurity: It’s a Shared Responsibility”.  I hope you can join us for this timely and relative topic that impacts each of us, no matter what our profession.  1 CPE will be provided.
